labor organization for Special Police and Security Officers in the United States of
America, incorporated, in Washington, D.C., and operating under
Section 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code.
It is with great sorrow that I inform you of the passing of Hector Fajardo's our
Vice President mother. She passed away on September 1, 2016 after a
prolonged illness. We all share in his and his family's
sorrow. Condolences can be sent to the union office and we will insure
that they are passed onto the Fajardo family. She will be buried in her home country of Guatemala.
May she rest in peace.
Federations President Honored by NLEOMF
During a special program in Washington, DC, Federations President Ralph
M. Purdy received a plaque recognizing his 25-year commitment to the
National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Museum. President
Purdy was one of the original Founders.

Charles “Chip” Strebeck has been appointed as the
Executive Director of the UFSPSO. He will be responsible for the day to day
operations of the union, reporting to the President.
Chip has been a labor consultant for the union since
February 2012 working with a number of our contracts including Garda , SecTek, United
Medical Center and George Washington University Hospital.
Prior to coming with us Chip spent 34 years in
armored transportation and private security. He held senior management
positions in several companies including Garda Cash Logistics as vice president
operations, CDC Armored as executive vice president operations, Servicelink as
President and Loomis Armored as Division President.
Jay retired from our California
Local 654 two years ago. He was the organizer of this local in San Pedro and
Long Beach ports. He was the Chief Steward for approximately ten years.
Steve Reilly, Vice President for New York State Federation
of Police, inc., and United Federation of Police Officers Inc. Steve Reilly is
currently undergoing dialysis and has recently gone through triple by-pass
surgery. While he is doing well regarding the surgery, Steve is in need
of a Kidney. If anyone might be or know of someone that would possibly be
interested in donating a Kidney, they are urged to contact the Westchester
Medical Center Transplant Center at 914-493-1990 for more information.
Steve is retired from the Village of Ossining Police Department he has been
with the Federation for over 30 years... He is a long time member of the
Westchester County Police Emerald Society...Thanks and God Bless…
