It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of former NYS
Senator Joseph R. Pisani, he died at the age of 86 on May 4, 2016. He was a champion of many pieces of police
legislation brought before him during his terms of office in the NYS Assembly
& Senate. The one year final average
salary bill I believe was the last of many important pieces of legislation
championed by Senator Pisani … a sincere friend of Law Enforcement Officers.
May he rest in peace.

We must learn from History...
"In our glorious fight for Civil Rights, we must guard against being fooled by false slogans such as
'RIGHT TO WORK.'
It provides no rights and no work.
Its purpose is to destroy Labor Unions and the freedom of Collective Bargaining ... we demand this fraud be stopped."
Speaking on right to work laws in 1961.....
